Alef can start conducting flight testing for its electric "Model A" flying vehicle.

Regulators gave Alef Aeronautics the go-ahead to start testing its all-electric flying automobile.

In 2015, Alef started creating its flying vehicles.

One of the company's investors is Tim Draper, who has previously backed Tesla and SpaceX.

The "Model A" has a flying range of 110 miles and a driving range of 200 miles (321 km).

Its weight is restricted because it is a low-speed vehicle and is under 3,000 pounds.

and is limited to a top speed of 25 mph (40 km/h).

The car has two seats for passengers.
