Prices for the Model 3 and Model Y EVs from Tesla (TSLA) have been reduced in Japan.

 after stronger-than-expected second-quarter deliveries, the outlook for profit margins.

The TSLA stock grew a little. Stock market activity on Wednesday following Monday's equities closing at a nine-month high.

In Japan, Tesla announced price reductions of about 3% for Model 3 versions and about 4% for Model Y versions.

The more expensive Model S and Model X automobiles remained the same.

Following the announcement of 466,140 EV deliveries, Tesla stock increased 6.9% on Monday.

That exceeded both predictions of roughly 445,000 and the corporate record of 422,875.

Deliveries of the Model X and Y made up 446,915, or 96%, of the total.
